Join us for the Pumpkins in the Park Night Market, a spooktacular collaboration between Danville-Boyle County Tourism and the Danville-Boyle Farmer’s Market! This special edition of the Boyle County Farmer’s Market will feature a painted pumpkin contest, eerie storytelling sessions with the Boyle County Public Library’s new Story Center, and a variety of festive treats from your favorite market vendors—many with a spooky twist. Kids can enjoy craft activities hosted by the Danville Art Commission, making it a night of fun for the entire family.
Show off your artistic flair at the Painted Pumpkin Contest during the Pumpkins in the Park Night Market. Bring your creatively decorated pumpkins to Governor’s Circle in Constitution Square, where they’ll be displayed for all to admire. Whether you go for spooky, whimsical, or anything in between, your pumpkin masterpiece could win big. Winners will receive DanvilleKY gift cards, redeemable at a variety of favorite local businesses. This is your chance to shine and celebrate the season, so get creative and bring your best pumpkin to the park!
The contest rules for the Painted Pumpkin Contest at Pumpkins in the Park Night Market are simple and fun:

- Age Categories: The contest will feature different age categories to ensure fair competition. Categories may include children, teens, and adults.
- Decorations: Participants may use paint, accessories, and other decorations, but the pumpkin must remain intact (no carving or hollowing).
- Judging Criteria: Pumpkins will be judged on creativity, originality, and overall design.
- Prizes: DanvilleKY gift cards will be awarded to winners, redeemable at local businesses.
- Display: All pumpkins will be displayed in the park for attendees to admire throughout the evening.
These rules ensure a fun and creative competition for all ages!

The cozy cabin setting adds a magical touch to the storytelling experience, as young listeners are transported to worlds of adventure, mystery, and fun.
Kids can also enjoy Halloween crafts with the Danville Art Commission!
Come join the fun on Friday, October 25th from 6-9 p.m. at Constitution Square.
