GLASS National Art Museum Gran Opening

Join the Art Center of the Bluegrass as they open the doors to the GLASS National Art Museum on Saturday, November 4, 2023! Admission is currently free to the public thanks to a generous sponsor and the first visitors of the day will receive a complimentary GLASS Museum mug! The main gallery space features glass works from the Art Center’s Stephen Rolfe Powell Museum Collection. The historic hallway gallery spotlights the life and work of Powell and speaks to the timeline and history of glass blowing. The third glass gallery will showcase works from the Art Center’s permanent glass collection as well as rotating exhibitions from both regional and national glass artists. Things will kick off with a stirring exhibit of Powell’s Echoes series. It’s a must see!
