Third Thursdays are special in Downtown Danville. Join in for these pre-weekend celebrations… just for fun! Your favorite downtown shops and eateries will be open until 8 p.m. (or later) with specials and promos just for you. The Downtown Entertainment District will be active from 5-9 p.m., meaning you can ‘sip and stroll’ with your drinks while enjoying all that downtown Danville has to offer.
On April 18th, celebrate spring with “Danville in Bloom” – a tribute to gardens, flowers, and everything we love about April in Kentucky. Be on the lookout for pop-ups from your favorite vendors at the Boyle County Farmers Market, plus drink and dining specials at downtown eateries.
The Plein Air Artists of Central Kentucky will be hosting a paint-out that evening, so you’ll find artists at work throughout the downtown district. You can chat with them about their artwork and enjoy a behind-the-scenes peek at the creative process that goes into landscape art.
If you have kids, take note. The Art Center of the Bluegrass will be hosting a drop-in art workshop for kids with dinner provided by Chick-Fil-A. Details and registration are online here.
