Food blogger highlighting six local eateries in 2023

Kentucky’s top food blogger has a love and a taste for Danville, as you’ll see in his posts about eateries in and around town at www.jcpeats.com

JC is a Centre College graduate, so he was already familiar with Danville before starting his food blog and sampling fare from around Kentucky to share online and on social media. Along with his reviews of restaurants, bakeries and other food-themed locations, you’ll also find some tasty recipes on his blog as well.

For Danville and Boyle County, JC is working on a six-part series, with blogs already written about the three following locations:

Bud and Cheryl’s Ice Cream Shoppe – https://bit.ly/3tkc46I

(The Dole Pineapple Whip)

Though they’ve closed for the 2023 season (reopening spring 2024!), JC made it there when the weather was still warm and went with a double cheeseburger, chocolate malt and a Dole pineapple whip.

Copper and Oak – https://bit.ly/48A2VqL

(The Copper & Oak Burger)

The charcuterie board, fried green tomato caprese, a Copper & Oak Burger and Maryland crab cakes. That’s what JC sampled (and so can you!).

Sweets by Cindy – https://bit.ly/3PCdm4t

(Goodies at Sweets By Cindy)

This Junction City sweets shop has a variety of confectionary creations and JC tried several of them. The photos speak for themselves, but JC performed his own quality control just to let you know if they are as good as they look.

JC’s other three Danville/Boyle County restaurant blog posts will appear online over the coming weeks, so check back and find out more about the other places he is set to visit.
