The Art Center of the Bluegrass has been busy with some big changes recently with the addition of the GLASS National Art Museum but have remained focused on providing opportunities to help you unlock your artistic side and create art of your own. Painting and Drawing
Whether you’re a novice or an experienced painter, The Art Center of the bluegrass has you covered. From watercolor to oil painting, graphite to charcoal, these classes cover a broad spectrum of techniques and mediums. Put pencil to paper or paint to canvas and discover the artist within.
Sculpture and Ceramics
If you’re more inclined toward three-dimensional art, explore the world of sculpture and ceramics. You can learn to shape clay into stunning pottery and create intricate sculptures that showcase your creativity. The art center offers date night classes, experimental classes for beginners, and special holiday and season classes. They are also currently offering ceramic painting on Saturdays during their open studio time.
Youth Programs

Private Art Parties & Kid Birthday Parties
You can’t spell party without art! You can now book private art parties in the new “Art Studio” space, including Open Studio, Starry Night Studio, and Paint Your Own Pottery. Join your friends for a cocktail and enjoy an inviting atmosphere while create art that you can keep for years to come.
You can also book kids’ birthday parties in the newly renovated kids’ art space. They will enjoy hands-on activities led by skilled instructors who encourage self-expression and exploration in the world of art.
