Waldo returning to downtown Danville on July 1

Where’s Waldo? All over downtown Danville, that’s where.

From July 1-20, the iconic character will be hanging out and hiding inside of 26 different downtown businesses, waiting to be found and documented for prizes.

Each business will have a 5-inch-tall cutout of Waldo displayed somewhere inside. Stop by Plaid Elephant Books – 116 N. 3rd Street – and pick up a stamp book, then start visiting the participating businesses to find Waldo and get a stamp or have your stamp book signed.

Get 10 stamps and Plaid Elephant will give you a temporary tattoo and a coupon for $1 off of a purchase. Get at least 20 stamps and you’ll be eligible for the drawing for a deluxe set of Waldo books and other prizes donated by downtown businesses. The drawing will be held July 20th.

More Waldo details can be found on the Plaid Elephant Books website by clicking here.
