During 2026, the Boyle County Public Library in Danville is creating America250-related programs that are free and open to the public to attend. Those include:
Monday, April 20, 3-5 p.m. – Revolutionary Ancestors with the Daughters of the American Revolution. Details here.
Tuesday, April 21, 6-7 p.m. – America250 Book Talk with Bryan Bush. Details here.
Wednesdays in April, 11 a.m.-12 p.m. – Stories of Downtown Walking Tour. Details here.
More events are being planned for May-July, so continue checking back here for additional details about Iron Baby Angel Walking Tours (May 6 and 20) and the opening of an exhibit on the Political Club of Danville in late May at Grayson’s Tavern. The Revolutionary Ancestors program continues into July and they will open another exhibit to coincide with the Iron Baby Angel play at Pioneer Playhouse. The exhibit (Danville, 1909) will be on display at the Library in July and will help visitors visual Danville during this time period through images and newspapers. More details coming soon!
