Come experience the beauty of the region and learn more about its native flora on an easy walk in the woods. The walk will last between 1-2 hours depending on the number of blooms.
A special parking area will be open near the Wildflower Trail starting at 2:30 pm. Please drive slowly and look for a sign that says, “CKWR EVENT PARKING.” The terrain is a bit uneven, so as you pull in someone will direct you to a good parking spot.
There are no restrooms near the Wildflower Trail, so it’s recommended that you stop by the main parking lot and use the porta potty there before the walk, if necessary.
The ticks are starting to come out, so bug spray around ankles and/or long pants tucked into socks are recommended.
