Author Talk: Mike Holdren on Herrington Lake

Central Kentucky author Mike Holdren will share stories from his book Herrington Lake: Kentucky’s Marvel of Architecture, Waterpower & Nature in a special program presented by the Friends of the Library.
Holdren’s connection to Herrington Lake began in the 1970s during fishing trips with his father and has grown into a lifelong passion. Now a resident of the lake, he released his book earlier this year in honor of the lake’s centennial, celebrating its history, natural beauty, and cultural significance.
The Friends of the Boyle County Public Library, a volunteer organization that provides financial and community support for the library, will also be on hand. Those interested in joining can learn more during the event.
