Join CKAS for a bird walk at Central Kentucky Wildlife Refuge. This is a privately run nature preserve, but open to the public. It has a variety of habitats and a wonderful bird blind. Cost: Free, but please consider a donation to the refuge. If you are driving, download directions before leaving. You will probably lose cell coverage en route.
Target species: Cerulean Warbler, Indigo Bunting, Eastern Bluebird, Blue Grosbeak,
Blue Jay, Great Blue Heron. Do you sense a theme?
