Exhibition Reception and Gallery Talk with Pulitzer Prize-Winning Photojournalist Jon Cherry

November 13 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Join the Norton Center for the Arts for an evening with Pulitzer Prize award-winning photographer Jon Cherry, whose powerful work captures the true spirit of today’s America. In his newest exhibition, Cherry poses the question, “What does it mean to be an American?”—an impartial reflection on the last five years of life in the United States.

Through striking imagery, the exhibition explores how political extremism, grief, pride, misinformation, and faith intersect to shape our headlines and our understanding of one another.

Enjoy light hors d’oeuvres and cocktails as you take in the exhibition and hear directly from Cherry during an engaging gallery talk about the stories and themes behind his work.

This event is free and open to the public.

Please RSVP by Monday, November 10. RSVP online, by calling 859.238.6688 or emailing nina.story@centre.edu
