Join in a free guided hike amidst the fall foliage at the Central Kentucky Wildlife Refuge. They will be on the lookout for various animals (including otters!), fungi, and plants. A scavenger hunt will be available for kids (and kids at heart).
The walk will start in the main parking lot at 10 am. It will last approximately two hours, along uneven terrain. Kids are welcome, but beginner/moderate hiking ability is required. No dogs please (to increase the likelihood of seeing wildlife). A portapotty is available at the main parking lot. The Education Center will be open after the hike and has an indoor bathroom.
No RSVP required. Contact ckwr.ed.director@gmail.com with any questions.
