Observing the Light: Painting Outside with the Plein Air Artists of Central Kentucky

Plein Air Artists of Central Kentucky (PAACK) is a growing group of artists that come together with a common love of nature and art. The group was formed in 2014 with eight people and continues to grow.

PAACK meets twice each month to create art at locations around Central Kentucky. Each artist uses their medium of choice to create a unique artwork depicting the scene before them. PAACK artists work in oil, acrylic, watercolor, collage, pastels, pen and ink, and more.

The camaraderie among members is a delightful benefit of this group of traveling artists. They support and encourage each other in positive ways as they strengthen their artistic skills.
