Start Your Engines for a Library Race Day at Ponderosa Speedway!
Join us Friday, June 27, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Ponderosa Speedway for a fun-filled, racing-themed event for all ages!
Enjoy car-themed stories and crafts, get an up-close look at real race cars and a fire truck, and hear from speedway owner Ryan Willis about what it takes to run a racetrack. Once the track is clear, kids can join in the excitement with a Power Wheels and bicycle race around the track!
Don’t miss the highlight of the day—the Library Outreach Vehicle Race! Cheer on our very own Katie Followell and the Boyle County Bookmobile as they go head-to-head against outreach vehicles from four neighboring counties in a race you won’t want to miss.
Fuel up with free hot dogs, hamburgers, and chips, courtesy of Ponderosa Speedway—and don’t forget to enter the drawing for a chance to win a brand-new bike!
