Susan Harris Howell is an author, speaker, and psychologist. Her novel, The Spirit of Vanderlaan, is a cozy ghost story featuring a professor and her lively band of students who get caught up in solving a campus mystery. This book recently won first place in the National Excellence in Story Telling contest, cozy mystery category. Susan and her husband live in Louisville with their incorrigible beagle named Doc. While Doc doesn’t listen to a word she says, he fully supports her writing endeavors.
About The Spirit of Vanderlaan: When Samantha and her students uncover a campus death, they must draw on everything from science to seances, to learn what happened before Samantha gets fired for “dabbling in the paranormal.”
