The Nutcracker – Nouveau! is a bold new reimagining of the beloved holiday classic, presented in partnership with The Lexington Theatre Company, the Boyle County Performing Arts Center, and Boyle County Dance. This original production features choreography by Ayako Lloyd (The Lexington Theatre Company, Cincinnati Ballet), Brance Cornelius (The Lexington Theatre Company), and Katie Palmer of Boyle County Schools. With performances by talented Boyle County Schools dancers and a featured artist from The Lexington Theatre Company, this fresh take on The Nutcracker honors the traditional story while adding a vibrant, imaginative twist.
Audiences will join Marie on a magical journey through the Land of Sweets—brought to life in unexpected ways. With dazzling visuals, inventive choreography, and even a few surprises for the senses, The Nutcracker – Nouveau! offers a colorful, immersive holiday experience that will delight audiences of all ages.
