The Tiny Art Show is a pop-up exhibit and fundraiser. This one-day arts explosion will feature hundreds of small artworks, created by artists from throughout the Southern Bluegrass Region of Kentucky – and around the country!
This year, Tiny Art will be located in the new classroom space at 409 W Main St. We are moving into Phase 2 of the ArtSee fundraising campaign, which will include the renovation of the third-floor ballroom, where future Tiny Art Shows will be presented. This year, we are excited to not only offer incredible artwork for only $20 each but to showcase our new classroom space. Adults may submit up to ten artworks to the show.
Children may submit up to two. Any medium is acceptable – painting, drawing, collage, pastel, etc. No glitter or un-fixed charcoal or pastel, please! Artwork must not exceed 6” on any side and must be created on – or affixed to – a solid backing (such as panelboard, mat board, foam core, stretched canvas, etc.) to allow for easy hanging.
Guests of the Tiny Art Show will have the opportunity to purchase works for $20 a piece…but will not know the identity of the artist until after they complete their purchase! The mystery is half the fun of this unique event. All proceeds from the show will support the Art Center’s mission to connect people to art, culture, and creativity.
