This museum – located inside a National Historic Landmark – showcases life for deaf students in 19th-century Danville at one of the only institutions of its kind at that time. Tour dormitories and classrooms inside this beautiful, historic building. Tours are $6 for adults, $1 for students 6-18 years old, and free for those under age 5. Tours are available Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-noon and from 1:15-3 p.m.
Jacobs Hall and the nearby Dr. Ephraim McDowell House are two of only 33 National Historic Landmark sites in Kentucky. The Perryville Battlefield State Historic Site 10 miles west of Danville is also a National Historic Landmark.

When you arrive at Jacobs Hall, enter from the rear parking lot, look for the large double doors to the right and go to the first office on the right through the doors to locate Rhonda or Scott.
