Pumpkins in the Park Night Market Returns

Celebrate the season in downtown Danville at Pumpkins in the Park Night Market on Friday, October 24, from 4–7 p.m. at Constitution Square. Shop your favorite Boyle County Farmer’s Market vendors one last time this year and enjoy the best of fall flavors, sweet treats, and seasonal goodies, along with special guest vendors from Obscurious Market. This spooktacular collaboration between Danville-Boyle County Tourism and the Danville-Boyle County Farmer’s Market will feature a painted pumpkin contest to fill the park with color and creativity, eerie storytelling sessions with the Boyle County Public Library’s new Story Center, festive fall-inspired treats from your favorite vendors, and craft activities for kids, making it a night of fun for the whole family.

A highlight of the night is the Painted Pumpkin Contest, where the park comes alive with color and creativity. To join in, simply drop off your decorated pumpkin—no carving, paint and decorations only—at the Constitution Square Gift Shop between Tuesday, October 21, through Friday, October 24, from 1-4 p.m., just as the market begins. Categories include ages 6 and under, ages 7–10, ages 11-16 years old, ages 17+, and a special group/business category. Will any of our local businesses or groups be able to top the reigning champions, the Norton Center for the Arts?

Alongside the market and pumpkin fun, you’ll also find plenty of seasonal flavors to enjoy. All your favorite Boyle County Farmer’s Market vendors will be there one last time this season, plus a few special additions. Biscuit’s BBQ will be set up serving smoky, savory favorites, and Lemonade on the Rocks will be on site with their fall drink menu.

More event details to come! Bring your friends, family, and pumpkins to help us fill Constitution Square with creativity and community spirit. Mark your calendar for Friday, October 24 from 4–7 p.m., and join us for a night of pumpkins, flavors, and fall fun at Pumpkins in the Park!
